We are excited to have introduced a new pain management modality to Wisconsin. We can’t even begin to express how extremely grateful we are to have helped so many wonderful people improve their quality of life. We are always eager and excited to give people a non-medical option for pain relief.
Cryotherapy of Wisconsin is a cryotherapy spa that draws on a holistic yet modern approach to health and wellness. Our goal is to promote overall well-being, to reduce pain and inflammation and to enhance athletic performance and recovery.
We offer the best possible service and expertise combined with the latest development in cryogenics to help our clients exceed their goals in health, sport performance and beauty.
Is Cryotherapy Safe?
Yes! Your body is safely cooled by nitrogen vapor surrounding your body. All treatments are conducted and monitored by an experienced and trained cryo technician. Be aware cryotherapy is not recommended for those with heart conditions and other medical issues. Before your first treatment, our staff will review a complete list of contraindications.
How Long Does Cryo Take?
At most, our cryotherapy treatments last for 3 minutes. Because of the intense cold therapy, many of our clients start out with a shorter treatment and work up to the full 3 minutes over time.
When Will I Start to See Results?
You’ll likely feel a powerful rush of endorphins (the body’s mood elevator) as soon as your cryo treatment finishes. You may also feel immediate:
These effects may last for hours or even days.
Many clients notice also improved sleep in the days following their treatment. Improvements in skin texture and reduction in cellulite and weight loss will take longer and may require a series of treatments for maximum results.
Is One Treatment Enough?
Every whole body cryotherapy session is beneficial and you’ll likely experience immediate positive results. However, research has shown maximum benefits of cryotherapy are seen over a period of 2-3 weeks, with 3-4 sessions per week.
